We don’t invent a retailer’s spec.
THE ICONIC, Myer and David Jones publish their image guidelines, so those sizes are theirs and we treat them as law. Zalando publishes a partner spec, so that one arrives filled in too.
Shopify is the opposite case: it publishes no image requirement at all, because it is your own storefront and your own theme crops it. The size above is ShotSync’s starting point, and your designer’s figure beats it.
Luxury vendor packs are not on the open web. For those channels ShotSync ships a sensible default and asks you for the real figure once — because a plausible-looking guess is worse than a blank field. A wrong size doesn’t announce itself; it quietly reprocesses every image of every future shoot.
